I came up with the initial design for the research poster. The text was compiled by Patrick in a Google Doc and I copied and pasted this into my design. My intention with the design was to avoid being too structured and lacking in creativity. To this end, I created each individual piece of the design and tried to place them in a way that they all fit and worked with each other.
I created the individual icons in Illustrator.
